this place is a lovely pub in brecon with only 2 rooms for overnite stays. we were here for a wedding at llangoed hall, which is super close by, only 10 mins away! the room was really spacious n clean. The hosts were very friendly n helped us a lot before we arrived. they let us change in our room even before check-in time, which was cool. i really recommend checkin out honey cafe down the road for brekkie, it’s got a great view!
but the toilet pump was kinda noisy which was annoying at 2 am, and there was no breakfast offered at the hotel.

A spacious and clean room awaited, complemented by friendly hosts who made check-in a breeze. Although no breakfast was served, the Honey Cafe nearby offered delightful options with a stunning view. One small downside was the lack of dining facilities at the property itself, but the bar provided tasty, freshly made dinner alternatives. Parking was plentiful and the area was peaceful, making it a great spot for a relaxing stay.

pleasant stay with room for improvement
The clean and comfortable room offered a cozy atmosphere thanks to the functioning fire. The staff's friendly nature made the check-in process easy, and they allowed us to enjoy a later check out without extra charges.
The ambiance could benefit from more character.

Nice place to chill, the huge bed and spacious room made me feel right at home. I loved unwinding at the cozy lounge and taking a relaxing soak in the tub. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but it didn't spoil my overall enjoyment. 😊

Had a blast at The Cock in Bronllys! The welcome from the staff was top-notch, really friendly folks. Loved the massive bed and the charming room. Plus, the flapjack on arrival was just the sweet touch I needed before conquering Pen y Fan!
A bit of a racket in the morning with the plumbing and some loud karaoke the night before, but all in good fun! Would have been nice to get breakfast on site, too, since the local cafe opens pretty late.
